Buying Off-Plan During Covid-19

Property Plans with tape measure

Are you considering or have you agreed to purchase an off-plan property prior to the Coronavirus.

Many of our clients put a deposit down on an off-plan property before the Coronavirus crisis happened. This is a common process, due to build times and forward planning, it also enables buyers to get the best prices before the building project actually starts.  This is known as an off-plan purchase.

Securing finance on off-plan property during the lock-down.

If you are in this situation and you want to secure the finance, don’t worry, we can get to work on your behalf even at this stage.

If the building work is due to complete in 2021 or further down the line, we can do a full study for you of your financial situation, give you an Agreement in Principle.  This provides you with the peace of mind, that you will secure the finance you need when the time comes to complete on your new build property.

If your new build property will be ready this year, then we can move the paperwork now and achieve a full approval on your mortgage even during this time of crisis.

Are mortgages are still being approved.

The banks are still operating and approving mortgages as normal and the paperwork can all be done via e-mail, in pdf format and submitted online.

If you are in the middle of an off-plan purchase, please get in touch with us and we can discuss your situation further, along with advising you of your best options at this time.
