Mortgage Matters Spain attends Caritas Christmas Charity Fair In Marbella

Santa with shopping bags

Mortgage Matters Spain attended the Caritas Christmas Charity Fair over the weekend in the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella. Every year the people of Marbella come to visit over 120 stands, selling wonderful gifts from food to hand made crafts for the festive season. The Fair runs from 12-15 December 2019.

The target for this years event was €200k to match last years fund raising amount, which no doubt I’m sure they achieved. The event is run by over 200 volunteers and visited by more than 8000 over the entire weekend.

Proceeds that are raised go mainly to local charities, provincial and national charities, along with a portion to help international emergency situations.

It is always a fun event and good to see such generosity every year from the city of Marbella. Well done to everyone who helped or visited the Fair, if you missed it, make sure you put a note in your diary for next year!
